&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;How many people have died from the bird flu&lt;/strong&gt;? 211 people have died from the bird flu since it was formalized since 2003. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;How many people have been infected with the bird flu&lt;/strong&gt;? 342 cases of the bird flu have been diagnosed since 2003. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What is the mortality rate for the bird flu&lt;/strong&gt;? 62% of the people infected with the bird flu have died.&lt;/p&gt;

 <description>&lt;p&gt;We&amp;#39;re continuing to graph the &lt;a href=&quot;/bird-flu-death-statistics-country&quot;&gt;data about bird flu deaths&lt;/a&gt;  that have occurred and been documented. Remember, some countries may not have documented their bird flu deaths properly.Â  &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The following is a &lt;a href=&quot;http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scatter_diagram&quot;&gt;scatter graph&lt;/a&gt;  composed of the ages of the people who died due to bird flu. You&amp;#39;re going to notice a few things about the graph. First, if you&amp;#39;re older than 40 you&amp;#39;re pretty much safe. I think this has to do more with your occupation. Older people tend to not work in the capacity of butchers, etc. Second, young people who do work in those occupations look to be the heaviest affected.Â &lt;/p&gt;

To date, there have only been 130 confirmed victims, which is sad, but reassuring. &lt;/p&gt;
